Although 2014 was a rough year for fan favorite and outfielder of the Los Angeles Dodgers Andre Ethier, on Friday October 17th, Andre Ethier was elected into the Arizona State Hall Of Fame.
Andre Ethier is from Arizona and played 2 seasons with the Sun Devils while finishing with a .371 batting average, 118 Runs Batted in, 113 runs scored, 14 home runs, 27 doubles and 7 triples in his career at Arizona State.
Andre’s strong play got the attention of many Major League baseball teams and he became a 2nd rough selection (62nd overall) with the Oakland A’s in the 2001 amateur baseball draft. Ethier was a teammate of current Boston Red Sox 2nd baseman Dustin Pedroia and current Detroit Tigers 2nd baseman Ian Kinsler. Along with Ethier being inducted, his wife Maggie was also inducted making them the first ever husband-wife combo to be inducted into the ASU hall of fame.
On a professional level Andre is arguably one of the best clubhouse presence you can have and he has a career line of .285 batting average, 1,238 hits, 145 home runs, 629 Runs batted in and 582 Runs scored. Congratulations to Andre Ethier and his wife Maggie on being inducted into the Arizona State Hall of Fame.
Thank U for posting on Andres latest accomplishment! He’s so adorable, hope 2015 he can aid and support the Dodgers by more than warming the bench!
