Matt Kemp is 0 for 2013, hitless in his first 10 at-bats. Is it reason to worry? I don’t think so. Kemp has had traditionally pretty solid Aprils. Kemp ranks fifth with highest April Batting Average (since 1921) 1. Rogers Hornsby .387 2. Harry Heilmann .355 3. Riggs Stephenson .353 4. Tony Gwynn .347 5. Matt Kemp .343. He will be ok, but if he struggles over the next week to 10 days do you look at the possibility of calling up Yasiel Puig? If the Dodgers offense is struggling, do you call him up to see if he can spark it? Will see? Just some thoughts over the first few games, but I am not worried yet.
