Dodgers News: Dodger Stadium Introduces Facial Recognition for Faster, Ticketless Entry

According to ABC7 Los Angeles, Dodger Stadium is introducing facial authentication technology for ticketless entry in the upcoming season.

Using the free “Go-Ahead Entry” system, fans can enter the stadium quickly, hands-free, and with their eyes up. Fans must download the MLB Ballpark app, sign up, and upload a selfie to participate. Once registered, they can use the designated “Go-Ahead Entry” lanes upon arrival.

This technology will be available at three entry points: Left Centerfield, Right Field Reserve, and Left Field Reserve gates. A camera will authenticate fans and automatically scan their tickets upon recognition.

Participation is optional; fans must be at least 18 years old to opt in.
