Dodgers Farm: #6 Prospect LHP Jackson Ferris shuts down Cedar Rapids for eight innings!!

Last night in Dow Diamond Stadium, Loons LHP Jackson Ferris put on a clink against Cedar Rapids.

In August of 2022 Jackson Ferris was assigned to the Chicago Cubs organization and pitched for their Single-A team Mrytle Beach Pelicans. In January of 2024 Ferris was traded to the Dodgers, along with Zyhir Hope in the Michael Busch Deal. Ferris was assigned to Dodgers High-A Affiliate The Great Lake Loons where he has gotten better every time he starts.

In last night’s dominate performance, Ferris threw eight scoreless innings helping the Loons 6-1 victory over Cedar Rapids. Yes, Dodges fans a pitcher in the Dodgers farm system went more than 3 innings.

Ferris’s stats for the night, 98P / 61S / 8IP / 0H / 0ER / 4BB / 6K / 3.39ERA. After last night’s game, it was announced today that Jackson Ferris is being moved to play for Dodgers Double-A Affiliate Tulsa Drillers.
