OKC announces there 2025 26-man lineup

The Oklahoma City Comets announced their preliminary roster for the 2025 minor league season. The team will carry sixteen pitchers, three catchers, five infielders, and four outfielders.

After having a good spring training, Nick Frasso will one of the many pitchers to watch. Frasso missed all of last year with an arm injury and looks to get back to dominating on the mound. Other notable pitchers to watch, Carlos Duran, Alec Gamboa, Jose Hernandez, Julian Fernandez, and Matt Sauer. If the Dodgers have injuries look for Bobby Miller, Justin Wrobleski, and Landon Knack make the OKC to LA shuttle when called upon.

The catchers are all returning from last year. Hunter Feduccia, Dalton Rushing, and Chris Okey will be anchoring the game behind the plate. All three catchers had a good spring training with Rushing finding his swing in the third week.

Two new additions to the infield this year. The Dodgers elected to send Hyeseong Kim down to work on his bat and Michael Chavis who elected free agency from the White Sox’s organization will start in the infield. Top ranked prospect Alex Freeland should be taking most of starts at short-stop and Kody Hoese should be on the hot corner at third base. Austin Gauthier should be sharing time at second base with Kim.

James Outman and Ryan Ward return to OKC in the outfield. Newcomer Justin Dean showed off his speed and glove this spring and should add some much needed to speed to the lineup. Eddie Rosario will be in the outfield as well, Rosario who came out hot in the beginning of spring training should be bring some major league experience to help mentor the team.
