Round Rock Texas – OKC 13 Round Rock 1
Dodgers Triple-A Affiliate Oklahoma City traveled to Round Rock Texas to take on the Express. OKC faced Texas Rangers Jacob deGrom who was pitching a rehab game. deGrom pitched two innings and got all six OKC batters he faced.
In the fourth inning, Dodgers Top Prospect Dalton Rushing got OKC on the board with an opposite field solo shot to tie the game up 1-1.
The bottom of the sixth inning OKC opens the flood gates. Andy Pages got it started with a line drive up the middle scoring Diego Cartaya and Austin Gauthier. Dalton Rushing was up next and hits a ground ball to right field scoring Drew Avans. With runners on first and third, Andre Lipcius came up to bat and crushed a ball over the left field wall scoring Pages and Rushing. At the end of the sixth, OKC put 8 runs on the score board ending the inning 9-1 OKC.
As the eighth inning starts, the Andy Pages, Dalton Rushing combo strikes again. Andy Pages singled on a line drive down the third base line, Rushing came up to bat and crushed a fastball into center field for his fifth RBI of the night. Since being called up to OKC, this is Rushing’s first multi home run game.
In the bottom of the eighth, Kody Hoese finished off Round Rock with a two-run bomb to left field putting OKC up 13-1. Oklahoma’s offense had one of their best games of the season last night, led by Dalton Rushing.

Wednesday, Yoshinobu Yamamoto is set to pitch two innings against Round Rock. If all goes well, he will likely make at least one more rehab start before rejoining the Dodgers. In July Yamamoto went on the IL, his injury was initially diagnosed as a rotator cuff strain but was later revised to right triceps soreness.
