Mike Sirota was first drafted out of high school in the 16th round of the 2021 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Sirota decided to go to college and played three seasons at Northeastern University. He was selected again out of the amateur draft in 2024 by the Cincinnati Reds.
While in Northeastern, Sirota had 546 AB / 158 R / 177 H / 39 doubles / 6 triples / 29 HR / 111 RBI / 48 SB / 120 BB / .324 AVG / .458 OBP / .577 SLG / 1.035 OPS.
After signing with the Reds and being assigned to the ACL Reds. Sirota would have to wait to make his professional debut, as he was traded to the Dodgers in the Gavin Lux trade. The Dodgers ended up getting there 2021 draft pick and he was assigned to Single-A Affiliate Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
Mike Sirota is 6’2 outfielder who mainly plays centerfield. He has made a big impact in his first year with the Quakes. His bat is a big part of the high-powered offense that leads the CAL South League in home runs. Sirota has proven so far to be an above average centerfielder with above average strong-arm strength.

Sirota was just named as California League Player of the Week from his performance in Rancho’s six-game series against Stockton.
I can see Sirota finishing his first year with the Dodgers organization in Rancho. I will not be surprised if he is moved up to High-A next year, but he could see time in Great Lakes if the need is there. Keep your eye on Mike Sirota, he has the potential to be a dynamic centerfielder for the Dodgers organization.
