Dodgers Farm: Seven Dodgers Finish Season on MLB Pipeline Top 100
With the end of the minor league season, seven prospects in the Dodgers system finished the year on the MLB Pipeline Top 100

LOS ANGELES, CA—While the Los Angeles Dodgers continue their October action with Game Two of the National League Division Series taking place later today, Major League Baseball recently announced its updated end-of-season pipeline ranking, and the Dodgers organization came out well.
Overall, the Dodgers had the second most prospects on the list with seven players making the cut, with Josue De Paula leading the way as the number thirteen-ranked prospect in all of baseball.
The complete list is as follows:
- Josue De Paula, No. 13
- Zyhir Hope, No. 20
- Eduardo Quintero, No. 34
- Alex Freeland, No. 45
- Mike Sirota, No. 64
- Jackson Ferris, No. 98
- Emil Morales, No. 100
At the start of the 2025 season, the Dodgers had six Top 100 prospects according to MLB Pipeline, a list that included right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki before he graduated to the rookie status earlier this summer.
Josue De Paula, No. 13
Josue De Paula is among the most skilled hitters in the minor leagues, and his progress over the past two years has maintained his status at the top of the Dodgers organization. The 20-year-old demonstrates a mature approach and a good sense for creating solid contact. He avoids pitches he can’t hit effectively and looks for those he can, making progress in his power output by improving his ability to elevate the ball.
De Paula possesses all the qualities you’d want in a slugger: he records high exit velocities with potential for even more strength, maintains a manageable 20% strikeout rate alongside a nearly equal walk rate, and excels at hitting against same-handed pitchers. An often overlooked part of his game is his base-running intelligence; despite only average speed, he has stolen over 50 bases in the past two seasons.
Zyhir Hope, No. 20
Zyhir Hope has been on the rise since joining the Dodgers organization via the Michael Busch trade. He possesses significant raw power and is capable of hitting to all fields. Although only 20 years old and quite filled out already, this isn’t a major concern because his raw strength is well-developed.
Eduardo Quintero, No. 34
Eduardo Quintero had an outstanding year, overcoming a tough Single-A debut in 2024 to excel in the California League and earn a promotion to Great Lakes. The teen exhibits patience at the plate, drawing numerous walks, yet also delivers strong offensive numbers when he swings. His power significantly improved this year, with 14 homers in 81 games for Rancho Cucamonga.
Alex Freeland, No. 45
The switch-hitter generally performs better from the left side but can still generate power from the right. He has occasionally faced contact issues but maintains low strikeout rates by working deep into counts. At the time of his MLB promotion, Freeland led Triple-A in walks, indicating that his plate discipline could be his key strength.
Mike Sirota, No. 64
Sirota started the 2025 season with Single-A, performing exceptionally well. Over 59 games across Rancho Cucamonga and Great Lakes, he led MiLB with a 189 wRC+ and made a strong impression. His slash line of .333/.452/.616 was supported by an 18% walk rate and 13 home runs. Sadly, his impressive regular season was cut short due to a right knee injury in July, which placed him on the 60-day IL.
Jackson Ferris, No. 98
Ferris possesses a collection of pitches that could compete at the major league level. His fastball features a flat approach angle and tends to stay high in the zone, challenging hitters. The Dodgers, after acquiring him from the Cubs, added a hard slider that serves as a strong breaking ball. Although his curveball and changeup lag behind these two pitches, they have shown improvement.
Ferris, with a somewhat deceptive delivery still in his arsenal, has a solid chance of achieving his mid-rotation starter potential. His ceiling likely limits him to a number two or a high-quality number three, but he’s well-positioned to reach that level.
Emil Morales, No. 100
Morales is already a strong power hitter with a talent for hitting the ball to all fields. His ability to hit the opposite field is notably impressive for his age, though he still tends to pull the ball frequently. This year, he has experienced some swing-and-miss issues, which warrant attention as he develops. His swing sometimes appears a bit hitchy, though it was more pronounced in the past.
