LOS ANGELES, CA — Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez reflected on Tuesday’s loss to the Orioles, where he contributed a key hit and RBI but also struck out in a crucial late-game situation. Despite the tough loss, Hernandez emphasized the importance of moving forward. “This one is already in the past,” he said. “We just need to move forward, think about tomorrow, and try to do it better.”

When asked about teammate Jack Flaherty, who took a line drive off his pitching hand but continued to give the team a chance to win, Hernandez praised his resilience. “He’s a competitor. He gives everything for us and the team,” Hernandez stated. “He kept the game close, and unfortunately, we didn’t capitalize on our opportunities.”

Discussing the challenge posed by the Orioles’ pitching staff, Hernandez acknowledged their effectiveness. “They’re a very good team. They throw hard and hit their spots,” he explained, noting the difficulty in facing such strong pitching.

Looking ahead, Hernandez stressed the importance of focusing on the present. “We’re not thinking about the future. We just need to take it game by game and try to win,” he said, emphasizing a mindset of steady progress as the Dodgers prepare for their upcoming series.
