The Dodgers have been on fire since acquiring Albert Pujols currently riding a 6 game win streak after beating the San Francisco Giants Saturday at Oracle Park. Max Muncy spoke briefly with reports after the game where he addressed what’s been going well for him and the ballclub.
Just relaxing, made a couple adjustments just being within myself not trying to do too much and just taking when they give me it’s just going through relaxed for the most part.
I think we’re just getting back to ourselves, we kind of gone out of our own rhythm and we needed some guys to get back in their own myself included and it seems like we’re all doing that right now and it’s allowing us to get out there and put ourselves to win ballgames.
On Saturday’s contest, Max Muncy hit his second “splash” homerun into McCovey Cove and was asked “what is it with him and that body of water?”
I don’t know… who knows… I like it though!
The Giants were off to a great start at the start of the season, since then the Dodgers have been able to catch up to them in the standings, Muncy was asked if that means anything in the month of May?
It just means we’re back to playing good baseball I think it’s the most important thing to us. We know that if we’re playing our game and going out there and executing what we need to do you know, at the end of the day, the end of the month, the end of the season we’re going to be right where we need to be
