LOS ANGELES— After an incredible three-game weekend series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, second-year outfielder Andy Pages was named co-National League Player of the Week alongside Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez (8-for-20, 4-HR game on April 26th).
What a difference a great week in the show can make for a player, especially this early in the season. Not long ago, fans called for Andy Pages to be demoted to Triple-A in favor of Korean utilityman Hyeseong Kim.
However, after a 13-for-20 week that included three home runs and eight RBIs, Pages has increased his offensive production across the board with a .277/.355/.506 slash line and a 143 wRC+.
It wasn’t the prettiest start for Pages this season as from March 18th until April 19th, the sophomore was hitting .159 with ten hits, two home runs, five RBIs, and six runs scored in the Dodgers’ first twenty games of the 2025 year.
Pages, 24, has also made significant strides on defense this season, ranking in the 80th percentile in OAA (Outs Above Average), 82nd in Arm Value, and three DRS in the outfield.
Since mid-April Pages has statistically been one of the Dodgers most productive hitters and now ranks second on the Dodgers’ in wRC+ behind three-time Most Valuable Player Award winner Shohei Ohtani.
