In this afternoon press conference. Dave Roberts announced RHP Walker Buehler will be the Game 3 World Series starter in New York.

Dave Roberts – “We just love Walker in big games, the road isn’t going to faze him” “It also allows him to be available for a Game 7”

Since coming off the IL, Walker has been trying to find himself and make the necessary adjustments to be an affective pitcher who can shut batters down with his cutter, knuckle curveball, and sinker. Buehler’s four seamer has also been more effective with first pitch strikes, accuracy, and placement.

Dodgers X

Walker had one of his best starts of the post season against the New York Mets. His line was 4IP / 3H / 0ER / 0HR / 2BB / 6SO / .270AVG / 1.44WHIP. Buehler will look to build off that and go into Yankee Stadium to give the Dodgers the best chance to take game three of the World Series.
