Dodgers News: Dodgers 26-Man NLCS Roster Announced

The Dodgers have announced their 26-man roster for the NLCS

MILWAUKEE, WI—The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially announced their 26-man roster for the 2025 National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Much of the roster remains the same; however, there is a significant change: the removal of an extra position player and the addition of an extra pitcher for the Dodgers’ bullpen.

That move was expected due to the longer series format of seven games in a best-of-five series and was confirmed by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts earlier over the weekend.

That extra position player that was removed was rookie catcher Dalton Ruhsing, who only got one at-bat during the NLDS against the Phillies, and with Will Smith healthy, there was no reason for the Dodgers to carry three catchers.

Added to the roster is right-handed pitcher Ben Casparius, who was optioned back to Triple-A during the regular season but was one of Dodgers manager Dave Roberts’ most dependable arms during the first half of the season.

Justin Wrobelski stays on the roster after replacing Tanner Scott in the NLDS due to injury. Scott couldn’t be on the Dodgers’ NLCS roster because he was removed in the previous round, but he would be available for a possible World Series roster.

Will Klein first became eligible this postseason after being optioned just before the end of the regular season, but he ultimately did not play a role in the Dodgers’ plans.
