Dodgers News: Dodgers Prospect Pipeline Booms with Four in Baseball America’s 2026 Top 100

LOS ANGELES, CA—Despite a winter storm racing across much of the United States, the start of spring training is less than three weeks away, with multiple teams expected to report to their camps by next month.
With the start of the 2026 Major League Baseball season so close, that means across multiple outlets, a plethora of new Top 100 lists, including those from Baseball America, which recently published their latest Top 100 Prospects rankings for the upcoming year.
Of the 100 players listed, the Dodgers finished with four prospects on the list, tying them for the third most with the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, St. Louis Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Rays.
- 20. Eduardo Quintero, CF/OF
- 24. Josue De Paula, RF/OF
- 45. Mike Sirota, CF
- 63. Zyhir Hope, CF
Compared to last season, there are significant changes to the Dodgers’ farm system, which was headlined by Japanese rookie right-hander Roaki Sasaki, who was also last year’s No. 1 prospect per MLB Pipeline.
Besides Sasaki, Dalton Rushing, Alex Freeland, and Jackson Ferris were removed from the list because of major league promotions or because other talent replaced them.
Although these four outfield prospects are very promising, they are still at least a couple of years from making it to The Show in Los Angeles, even with an aggressive promotion plan. This seems unlikely given the signing and introduction of Kyle Tucker on Wednesday.
Quintero has been named the Dodgers’ top prospect by Baseball America, climbing from No. 7 in 2025. He was not listed in the previous Top 100. In 2025, Quintero played for Low-A Rancho Cucamonga and High-A Great Lakes, posting a batting average of .293, an on-base percentage of .415, and a slugging percentage of .508. He hit 19 home runs and achieved a 152 wRC+ over 113 games.
De Paula has been elevated to the Dodgers’ No. 2 prospect according to Baseball America, up from No. 4 in 2025. He has appeared in Baseball America’s rankings multiple times, previously ranked 18th overall in 2025 and 33rd in 2024. In 2025, De Paula mainly played for High-A Great Lakes, where he posted a .263/.406/.421 batting line with 12 home runs across 98 games before getting promoted to Double-A Tulsa.
Sirota, acquired in the Gavin Lux trade, is now the Dodgers’ third-ranked prospect according to Baseball America, moving up from No. 25 in 2025. Josh Norris of Baseball America sees Sirota as a potential candidate to climb into the top 100, attributing his current low ranking to a knee injury.
As mentioned earlier, Sirota was having an outstanding season after his promotion to Double-A, with a slash line of .333/.452/.616 and 32 extra-base hits in 59 games in A-ball before his injury.
Hope, acquired in the Michael Busch trade, is now ranked as the Dodgers’ No. 4 prospect by Baseball America, a slight rise from No. 5 in 2025. He mostly played in High-A, posting a .265/.377/428 batting line with 13 home runs and 27 doubles before being promoted to Double-A Tulsa.
Over the next few weeks, more lists like these will be updated for the upcoming 2026 season. At the end of last season, the Dodgers were ranked as the No. 1 farm system by multiple outlets, and this is not expected to change significantly this year.
