Dodgers News: Dodgers Reach Agreement with Alex Call and Brock Stewart Ahead of Arbitration Deadline
The Dodgers have agreed to new contracts with Alex Call and Brock Stewart ahead of the arbitration deadline

LOS ANGELES, CA—Prior to tonight’s Major League Baseball arbitration deadline, the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to one-year contracts with both right-handed pitcher Brock Stewart and outfielder Alex Call accoridng to Jack Harris of the California Post.
Yesterday, the Dodgers also reportedly agreed to a contract figure with 27-year-old right-handed relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol at $2.8 million for the 2026 season.
Initially at the start of the offseason, the Dodgers had eight arbitration-eligible players, but over the course of the winter, that number shrank down to four players, with the only one remaining on an agreement being left-hander Anthony Banda.
Stewart, 34, is one of the older players still eligible for arbitration, but that is due to the right-hander playing several years overseas before rejoining the Minnesota Twins in 2023.
The Dodgers reacquired Stewart during the 2025 trade deadline, hoping he’d fill the void of a late-inning right-handed option from the bullpen, but that wouldn’t be the case as he’d undergo season-ending shoulder surgery in the final month of the regular season.
Overall, the Dodgers were able to agree with Stewart on a $1.3 million deal, a pay increase from his $870,000 salary last season, and the right-hander will be arbitration-eligible next offseason.
MLB Trade Rumors had Setwart projected for $1.4 million, so the Dodgers get him a bit under that value.
As for Alex Call, this was his first offseason where the Super 2 player was arbitration-eligible and was able to agree on a $1.6 million salary figure with the Dodgers.
Like Stewart, Call was another player acquired at this past summer’s trade deadline and was primarily an option for the Dodgers off the bench or against left-handed pitching.
Call was projected for $1.5 million per MLB Trade Rumors, so he gets a slight bump from his projected salary.
The 31-year-old hit .247/.333/.384 with four doubles, two home runs, and five RBI in 38 games with Los Angeles and figures to be up for the open outfield spot this upcoming spring should the Dodgers not make any more significant moves.
