Dodgers News: Dodgers Reportedly Backing Out of Hisashi Iwakuma Deal
Reports this morning from Jiji Press in Japan that the Dodgers have backed out of the deal after Hisashi Iwakuma has reportedly failed his physical. The Dodgers had agreed to a three year deal worth $45 Million with Iwakuma nearly two weeks ago. This would be another big blow to The Dodgers this off season as it has already not quite gone as planned. If a deal with Iwakuma is not re-worked Dodgers could look to turn their attention to Mike Leake and Scott Kazmir.
Scott Kazmir also a consideration for Dodgers, along with Mike Leake, if indeed the ‘Kuma deal has hit a snag.

“Inaccurate” to say #Dodgers are out on Iwakuma, I’m told. Perhaps they’re reworking the contract? — Dylan Hernandez (@dylanohernandez) December 17, 2015
We will have more details as the story develops.
