Dodgers News: Dodgers Reveal 2026 Minor League Coaching Staffs

LOS ANGELES, CA—The Los Angeles Dodgers revealed their Minor League coaching staffs for the 2026 season. Scott Hennessey will lead Oklahoma City, Eric Wedge will coach Tulsa, Jair Fernandez will oversee Great Lakes, John Shoemaker is in charge of Ontario, Fumi Ishibashi will work with the Arizona Complex League Dodgers, and Leury Bonilla, along with Sergio Mendez, will manage the Dominican Summer League Dodgers.

The Dodgers’ farm system keeps six of their seven managers from last year, with Fumi Ishibashi stepping in as the head of the Arizona Complex League Dodgers. Ishibashi has been part of the Dodgers organization since 2008, appearing in three minor-league games and serving as a bullpen catcher for the Inland Empire 66ers. He became a full-time coach in 2011 with the AZL Dodgers and served as the Dodgers’ bullpen catcher from May 2012 to 2013. Having coached multiple positions within the organization, this is his second time as a minor league manager, having previously led the DSL 2 team in 2019 to a 35-34 record and third place in the DSL.

Last season, the Dodgers’ minor league affiliates posted a combined winning percentage of .505 (363-356), marking their 10th consecutive winning season and ranking 13th in baseball. The Tulsa Drillers and Rancho Cucamonga secured playoff spots in 2025, while the Oklahoma City Comets finished with over 84 wins for the third time in four seasons and posted the best record in the Pacific Coast League at 45-30 away from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers’ minor league affiliates helped form the back-to-back World Championship team by providing eight of the 26 players on the final roster: Clayton Kershaw, Jack Dreyer, Edgardo Henriquez, Emmet Sheehan, Justin Wrobleski, Will Smith, Andy Pages, and Hyeseong Kim.
