After signing Roki Sasaki, the biggest international player in the 2025 IFA signings. The Dodgers managed to have some money left over from additional trades. The reports are all over the place on the exact amount left over after signing Sasaki. The Dodgers had either $896,200 or $1,146,200 to spend on 16 international players.
Listed are the known signing bonuses reported by international baseball reporters Francy Romero and Ben Badler.
LHP Adrian Torres
Panama’s left-handed pitcher Adrian Torres, who signed for $365,000 plus a $100,00 scholarship. Torres is regarded as one of the premier lefties in the class. He has a 92-95 mph fastball, starter potential, and tremendous developmental upside, per MLB insider Francys Romero.
SS Luis Tovar
The Dodgers acquired Venezuelan shortstop Luis Tovar, who was the third signing over all for $300,000.
Infielder Luis Luna
As the Tanner Scott deal was being revealed. The Dodgers signed Colombian infielder Luis Luna. Luna signed a bonus deal for $140,000 and is considered to be a contact hitter with speed and versatility.
Outfielder Jhosman Theran
Colombian outfielder Jhosman Theran signed a bonus deal for $45,000. Theran represented Colombia’s national team in the 2022 U-15 World Cup.
RHP Joseph Deng
Joseph Deng made history in this year’s international signing pool. Deng is the first player born in South Sudan to sign with an MLB organization and the second African player in the international class. He is a 6-foot-7 17-year-old who can already throw a fastball in the 93-96 mph range.

Venezuelan RHP pitcher Carlos Ramirez. Ramirez was the first international player to sign with the Dodgers after the Sasaki deal.

After the Dodgers organization spent $6.5 million on Roki Sasaki. They were able to work out deals with the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds to add additional signing pool money to get the 16 international players they have been scouting.
