Dodgers News: Dodgers Trade RHP Noah Davis to Twins for Cash Considerations
Davis, who struggled in limited MLB action this season, is expected to report to the Twins' Triple-A affiliate. The move clears a roster spot for the return of former Dodgers prospect Nick Nastrini.

Ahead of the MLB All-Star break, the Los Angeles Dodgers traded right-hander Noah Davis to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for cash considerations. In a corresponding move, the Twins are expected to option Davis to their Triple-A affiliate, the St. Paul Saints.
Davis has struggled in limited big-league appearances this season, allowing 13 earned runs in just 6 innings with the Dodgers, resulting in a 19.50 ERA. Although he performed better in Triple-A with Oklahoma City, posting a 3.94 ERA over 32 innings, his Major League performances have been challenging.
The Dodgers originally acquired Davis from the Colorado Rockies at the end of Spring Training. He spent most of his time with Triple-A Oklahoma City, serving as rotation depth.
This move follows the Dodgers’ decision to designate Davis for assignment to make room for the return of right-hander Nick Nastrini. Nastrini, once a promising arm in the Dodgers’ farm system, was traded to the White Sox in 2023 as part of the deal that brought Joe Kelly and Lance Lynn to Los Angeles at that year’s trade deadline.
