Dodgers News: Dodgers Vs. Phillies NLDS Schedule
The NLDS begins on Saturday, plan accordingly
PHILADELPHIA, PA—The Los Angeles Dodgers are moving on to the National League Division Series for the 13th consecutive season after their two-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds in the Wild Card round.
Their opponent: the Philadelphia Phillies
The Fightin’ Phils were able to avoid the first round of the postseason thanks to securing one of the top two seeds in the National League, along with the National League Central-winning Milwaukee Brewers, who will host the winner of the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs Wild Card Series.
This will be the sixth postseason meeting between these coastal rivals, and their first since October 2009, when the Phillies defeated the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series for the second consecutive year.
Game One of the 2025 NLDS will be held at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday. The starting time depends on the outcome of the Wild Card game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
If the Yankees advance, Game One between the Dodgers and Phillies will start at 3:38 PM PT. If the Red Sox win the series, the first pitch at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday is at 3:08 PM PT.
No matter how it turns out, there will be a rare off day before the Phillies host Game Two on Monday.
The break in the NLDS schedule may benefit the Dodgers, who are expected to rely on their starting rotation to offset their inconsistent bullpen. Game Three of the NLDS is scheduled for Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, with a possible Game Four on Thursday.
All NLDS games will air on either TBS or truTV, with streaming available through HBO Max.
