ARLINGTON — Prior to tonight’s series against the Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers minor league outfielder, veteran Eddie Rosario is with the team in Arlington, Texas.
The arrival of Rosario is surprising even if it’s for a move for the Dodgers 26-man roster for an injury as the former Atlanta Brave signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers over the winter and is not on the Dodgers 40-man roster.
After not making the team in Spring Training, Rosario opted to stay with the organization and accept his demotion to Triple-A OKC.
The thirty-three year old outfielder has gotten off to a fast start this season hitting .339 with a .948 OPS, two home runs, twelve RBIs and three stolen bases in fifty-nine minor league at-bats.
However, this story will be updated once we get official confirmation on a roster move.
