From Oklahoma City Comets broadcaster Alex Freedman. Emmet Sheehan and Edgardo Henriquez will make rehab starts with Dodgers Affiliate Triple-A OKC Comets.
The Comets are in Las Vegas taking on first place Athletics Affiliate Triple-A Avatars in a six-game series that started last Tuesday. Per Freedman Henriquez is scheduled to pitch tonight and Sheehan scheduled to start on Sunday.
Sheehan is currently recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent in May 2024 to repair a torn UCL in his right elbow. He missed the entire 2024 season and began the 2025 season on the 80-day injured list. He is now undergoing a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League and is progressing well, potentially returning to the big leagues around the All-Star break.
Henriquez is currently out with a left foot fracture. He was placed on the 60-day injured list which occurred during spring training. He has been throwing bullpen sessions at Cambel Back Ranch.
