With the 2024/2025 Major League Baseball offseason now in full swing, kicking off with the General Manager meetings in San Antonio, Texas, team officials and player agents are all discussing the next steps for the 2025 season.

With the club option, player option, and qualifying offer deadline officially passed, the next major hurdle is when the arbitration process begins. The Los Angeles Dodgers have nine eligible players for arbitration this offseason.

Historically, the Dodgers organization has done well in negotiating deals with their respective players and has not had to go to an arbitration hearing. The last arbitration hearing for the Dodgers was in the 2019/2020 offseason when the Dodgers went to arbitration with right-handed relief pitcher Pedro Baez and outfielder Joc Pederson. Before that, you’d have to go all the way back to 2007, when the Dodgers took reliever Joe Beimel to arbitration and won.

Listed below are the projected figures courtesy of Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors for the nine arbitration-eligible players for the Los Angeles Dodgers and their respective service time.

The 2024/2025 arbitration negotiations begin Friday, January 10th, 2025. If the clubs cannot reach a deal, the player and the team will have an arbitration hearing set at a later date. An independent arbitrator will hear both sides and determine whether the player wins or the team.
