LOS ANGELES— The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller from Triple-A OKC and have optioned righty Landon Knack as the corresponding move prior to tonight’s game against the Colorado Rockies.

Miller, 26, will make his 2025 regular season debut after being optioned to Triple-A to start the year. Miller was considered for the final spot in the Dodgers Opening Day starting rotation, but a head injury during Game One of Cactus League play derailed that.

Despite being hit by a comeback line drive off the bat of former Dodgers top prospect Michael Busch, Miller only sustained minor injuries and was able to begin throwing the following week.

Miller has made three appearances in Triple-A this season, posting a 2.25 ERA in twelve innings of work. However, he has struggled with his command, issuing eleven walks while only striking out eleven hitters.

After a breakout 2023 rookie season, Miller took a massive step back last year, statistically being the worst starting pitcher in Major League Baseball with a 2-4 record and 8.52 ERA in fifty-six innings of work.

It’ll be a clean slate for Miller, who will get a chance to complete the sweep of the Colorado Rockies for the Los Angeles Dodgers after the team lost three consecutive series until yesterday’s 6-2 victory.

After two starts for the Dodgers, righty Landon Knack will return to Triple-A OKC after allowing seven runs in 6.2 innings.

Like lefty Justin Wrobleski, Knack cannot be recalled until after fifteen days have passed unless it’s due to injury. With the Dodgers likely needing another spot starter next week if lefty Blake Snell is still on the 15-day Injured List.
