Dodgers News: Landon Knack with Team in Miami

MIAMI— With the Los Angeles Dodgers pitching plans for tomorrow’s series finale game in Miami in flux, right-handed pitcher Landon Knack is reportedly with the team in Miami, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic.

The Dodgers are set to make a flurry of roster moves over the next twenty-four hours with James Outman already with the team today with all indications of an injury move for Dodgers right fielder Teoscar Hernández, who left yesterday’s game with left hamstring tightness.

While the Dodgers went with right-handed pitcher Ben Casparius, who was bulk in yesterday’s game, and Tony Gonsolin, who is going today, the Dodgers will need arms for tomorrow’s bullpen game.

The Dodgers have already recalled right-handed relief pitcher J.P. Feyereisen as a fresh arm for the next two days. However, it appears Landon Knack will get another crack in the Dodgers’ rotation.

Knack, 27, posted a 7.27 ERA across 8.2 innings for the Dodgers this season, including two starts in April, to which the righty allowed seven runs across 6.2 innings.

In four games in Triple-A, Knack has a 3.98 ERA in 20.1 innings pitched with nineteen strikeouts and a 1.18 WHIP.

While the Dodgers have yet to announce their pitching plans for tomorrow, with Knack being a starter, expect him to get the bulk of the innings tomorrow.
