LOS ANGELES—Prior to tonight’s game against the Miami Marlins, the Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Matt Sauer from Triple-A OKC as a fresh arm for today’s bullpen game.

To make room on the 26-man roster, the Dodgers optioned right-handed pitcher Noah Davis back to the minors.

This is Sauer’s third stint with the Major League club after making the team’s Tokyo Series roster and was recalled from the minors during the Washington Nationals Series in early April.

Sauer, 26, has a 5.40 ERA in 1.2 innings pitched this season and will likely be an arm the Dodgers use for today’s bullpen game.

Noah Davis was 0-1 with a 10.13 ERA in 2.2 innings pitched for the Dodgers this season, but did throw two scoreless innings his last time out against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
