Dodgers News: NBC Announces Clayton Kershaw, Former MLB Greats to Join Broadcast Team

The legendary Dodgers ace joins a slate of newly retired players set to bolster NBC’s baseball coverage.

LOS ANGELES, CA—Prior to the start of Super Bowl 60, which was hosted by NBC Sports this year, the network announced on social media that Clayton Kershaw, Anthony Rizzo, and Joey Votto have joined their broadcast team for the upcoming 2026 Major League Baseball season.

NBC Sports has tapped Kershaw, Rizzo, and Votto as pregame analysts for its exclusive MLB Wild Card coverage on NBC and Peacock, after acquiring the rights to these games from ESPN.

Additionally, depending on schedules and availability, the three will join select pregame shows leading into regular-season Sunday Night Baseball games on NBC and Peacock, alongside hosts Bob Costas and Ahmed Fareed.

“We’re excited to welcome Clayton, Anthony, and Joey, three stars right off the field who can provide fresh perspective on the players, teams, and everything that makes baseball special,” Executive Producer and President of Production of NBC Sports Sam Flood said.

“We look forward to rolling out some new concepts to take advantage of the unique insights of each analyst, beginning on Opening Day.”

Coincidentally, the Dodgers’ 2026 Home Opener is set to be broadcast by NBC on March 26th, against their National League West rival, the Arizona Diamondbacks.
