Dodgers News: Team announces Pride Night plans

June 13th will be the date

LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers are getting ready to paint Dodger Stadium in all the colors of the rainbow as they host their 12th annual LGBTQ+ Night, presented by Blue Shield of California, on Friday, June 13. The festivities coincide with the team’s always-heated matchup against the division rival San Francisco Giants, with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. — but the celebration starts long before the game and keeps going afterward.

LGBTQ+ Night has become one of the marquee theme nights on the Dodgers’ calendar, and this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the most memorable yet. In partnership with LA Pride — Southern California’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration — the party kicks off at 5:10 p.m. in the Centerfield Plaza, where fans will be treated to live music, entertainment, and the return of the always-popular “Vogue Off” competition.

This year’s musical headliner is G Flip, the Australian singer, drummer, and producer whose energy-packed performances and genre-blending style have won them a growing international following. Their most recent album earned them nine ARIA Awards and a GLAAD Award nomination, and they’ll take the Centerfield stage to lead the celebration before the game.

Helping judge the Vogue Off will be none other than Chrishell Stause of Selling Sunset, who is married to G Flip, and Anthony Allen Ramos, GLAAD’s Vice President of Communications and Talent.

The evening will also be star-studded with appearances from a slate of high-profile LGBTQ+ icons and allies, including:

  • Tom Daley, Olympic gold medalist diver
  • Dustin Lance Black, Academy Award-winning screenwriter (Milk) and LGBTQ+ rights advocate
  • Lance Bass, pop icon and *NSYNC alum
  • Michael Turchin, Bass’s husband and visual artist
  • Jai Rodriguez, of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame

The festivities spill onto the field, too. At 5:30 p.m., OutLoud Sports, the country’s original LGBTQAI+ and Allies recreational sports league, will return to host their annual kickball game in the outfield — a fun, inclusive tradition that’s become a fan favorite.

And when the Dodgers and Giants wrap up their battle on the field, fans can look skyward for a special “Pride Night” drone show, lighting up the night with a message of celebration and inclusion.

Fans who want to commemorate the occasion in style can purchase a special ticket package at dodgers.com/LAPride, which includes an exclusive Dodger LGBTQ+ jersey available at the stadium on game night.

With music, fashion, sports, and community pride on full display, the Dodgers’ 12th Annual LGBTQ+ Night promises to be a can’t-miss celebration for fans of all identities.
