Dodgers News : Teoscar Hernández to Particpate in Home Run Derby

The 2024 Homerun Derby has a familiar face as Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández has been selected as the last participant for the event scheduled for July 15. This announcement comes after what seemed like a week of teasing that Hernandez would like to participate in the event.

“I’m really excited to be participating in the Home Run Derby this year. I’ll see you in Texas,” Hernandez said in a video on the Dodgers official Instagram account.

So now with the field set, here is how the matchups will align –

Pete Alonso vs. Alec Bohm
Adolis Garcia vs. Gunnar Henderson
Teoscar Hernández vs. Marcell Ozuna
Jose Ramirez vs. Bobby Witt Jr.
