Dodgers News: World Baseball Classic Schedule Announced

LOS ANGELES — Dodger fans, start clearing a little space on the calendar beyond the usual Cactus League games from Camelback Ranch: FOX Sports and World Baseball Classic have just dropped the U.S. broadcast plan for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, and it’s a full-on, wall-to-wall setup across FOX/FS1/FS2/FOX Deportes plus streaming options. The tournament begins with Pool C play in Tokyo on March 4 (ET), with the other pools (including San Juan, Houston, and Miami) starting March 6. Every one of the 47 games will be available in the U.S. across the FOX Sports family, the FOX Sports App, and Tubi, and, according to the official WBC press release, games will also be available to stream live and on-demand on FOX One.
From a Dodgers angle, it’s going to be one of those “keep your phone charged” stretches because the names are stacked: Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto are slated to rep for Japan, Edwin Díaz will be hurling for Puerto Rico, Hyeseong Kim will be on the roster for South Korea, and Will Smith and Dodger legend Clayton Kershaw will be wearing the red, white, and blue for Team USA.
As for the TV tentpoles FOX is pushing: the network says FOX will air seven games, highlighted by Team USA’s opener vs. Brazil at Daikin Park in Houston on March 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET. FOX also has quarterfinals on March 13 (Houston) and March 14 (Miami), then the Championship Game on March 17 in Miami at 8:00 p.m. ET. FS1 is carrying a big chunk of the tournament (the release says 19 games), including both Miami semifinals on March 15 and March 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
And if you like your WBC with your eggs and bacon, the schedule callout that jumped off the page: Korea vs. Japan is listed for Saturday, March 7 at 5:00 a.m. ET on FS1. Coffee-first baseball season is here.
Bottom line: the WBC is set up to be easy to find and hard to ignore, and with Dodgers all over multiple rosters, it’s going to feel like October baseball with real stakes long before Opening Day.
