Dodgers Press Release: Los Angeles Dodgers and Tokyo Electron Announce Partnership Agreement

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have entered into a multi-year agreement for Tokyo Electron (TEL), which manufactures and sells equipment for producing semiconductors and flat-panel displays, to become a Proud Partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Through the arrangement, TEL will enjoy Dodger-related marketing and promotional opportunities in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, as well as signage at multiple locations inside Dodger Stadium. TEL will also sponsor one Shohei Ohtani bobblehead in 2025 and other players in subsequent seasons.

TEL is a global leader in its field, and its equipment is used to make many of the world’s semiconductor chips.

“Tokyo Electron is an outstanding partner to welcome into our Dodger family,” said Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Los Angeles Dodgers. “We have the highest expectations that our association with TEL will deliver rewarding mutual benefits in the years to come.”

“It is a great honor for us to enter into a partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a renowned baseball team with strong ties to Japan and a number of star players from Japan,” said Toshiki Kawai, Tokyo Electron Ltd, President & CEO. “It is our sincere hope that this dream sponsorship will be fruitful for everyone involved, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, TEL and Dodgers fans around the world.”
