Los Angeles Dodgers (18-10) versus Miami Marlins (12-15)

LOS ANGELES— After winning two of three this weekend against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Los Angeles Dodgers will close out their six-game homestand with a three-game set against the Miami Marlins, led by former first base coach Clayton McCullough.

After a mediocre road trip last week, the Dodgers’ offense has come alive, scoring over seven runs in back-to-back games in large part due to second-year outfielder Andy Pages, who went 10-for-11 in the series.

The Dodgers now have eighteen regular-season wins, and thanks to a four-game skid by the San Diego Padres, the team sits in second place behind the San Francisco Giants in the National League West.

Overall, the Dodgers are 6-4 over their last ten games and look to take advantage of a struggling Marlins team as the team looks to get back on track, including their trio atop the order (Ohtani, Betts, Freedman), who have been silent most of the year.

Despite being just three games under .500, the Miami Marlins sit in last place in the competitive National League East, 6.5 games back of the leading New York Mets, and have won just four of their last ten games.

It is the first year of a new direction for the Marlins coaching staff, being led by former Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough, who took the open managerial position this winter, replacing Skip Schumaker.

Who’s in & who’s out?

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting rotation is set to get another massive blow if righty Tyler Glasnow is placed on the injured list.

Glasnow was removed from his start yesterday before the second inning after having right shoulder discomfort during his warmups. It was the second game in a row that Glasnow was removed early due to injury.

In his place, however, the Dodgers are expected to activate right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin on Wednesday to make the start in the series finale.

Lefty Clayton Kershaw is expected to pitch in two more rehab assignment games for Triple-A OKC this week, but is ineligible to return until May 17th.

Blake Snell, who was shut down again due to left shoulder inflammation, is still not throwing, and his progression is still to be determined.

Righty Michael Kopech is ramping up his throwing program and should face hitters in May and young righty Emmet Sheehan was seen at the Dodgers Arizona complex throwing off a mound.

15-day Injured List (4): Michael KopechTony Gonsolin, Blake Snell, Blake Treinen

The Miami Marlins, like the Dodgers, have most of their injured list taken up by pitchers, including young Eury Pérez, who is expected to miss most of the first half of the 2025 season recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Ryan Weather, who was placed on the 15-day injured list in March, threw his first rehab game yesterday, tossing three perfect innings on thirty-five pitches.

Catcher Nick Fortes was placed on the 10-day injured list on April 10th due to a Grade 1 left oblique strain and will miss the required ten days, including this series against the Dodgers.

The Marlins will also be without outfielder Derek Hill, who sprained his left wrist on a diving catch on April 8th at Citi Field against the New York Mets. Hill initially tried playing through it but was placed on the 10-day injured list on April 18th and was cleared for baseball activities on April 21st.

10-day Injured List (3): Nick Fortes, Derek Hill, Rob Brantly

15-day Injured List (2): Ryan Weathers, Declan Cronin

60-day Injured List (4): Eury Pérez, Braxton Garrett, Andrew Nardi, Griffin Conine
