Dodgers News: Dodgers Recall Jack Little, Option Noah Davis; Sheehan Will Start Tomorrow

LOS ANGELES, CA— Prior to tonight’s game, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Jack Little from Triple-A OKC. To make room on the roster, the Dodgers optioned righty Noah Davis.
Little, 27, returns for his second stint with the club after allowing two runs in two innings in his first turn with the Dodgers. He has made twenty-nine appearances for the Oklahoma City Comets, going 4-3 with a 3.60 ERA and thirty-three strikeouts in thirty-five innings.
Unsurprisingly, the Dodgers decided to option Noah Davis after yesterday’s blowup, where the 28-year-old righty allowed ten earned runs in 1.1 innings in a blowout loss to Houston.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts also stated that right-handed pitcher Emmet Sheehan would be recalled to start the Sunday series finale versus the Astros.
The team will have to make a corresponding roster move to add Sheehan to the roster.
Sheehan made his 2025 season debut last month, tossing four innings of one-run ball and collecting six punchouts versus the San Diego Padres, but was optioned down to Triple-A to continue working on his ability to pitch deeper into games.
After that demotion, Sheehan was promoted to throw six perfect innings in his next start and looked like he was ready to come back to the Major League roster, but had to wait the full fifteen days until he was eligible to be recalled.
Sheehan will take Ben Casparius’ spot in the rotation after Roberts confirmed the righty would be going back to the ‘pen.
