Dodgers Recap: May with a solid outing; Dodgers’ offense lost in the desert sun
Game 40, 5/10/2025: Dodgers 0, Diamondbacks 3

PHOENIX — Dodgers offense was missing in action tonight. The Diamondbacks due just enough to take game three of the four game series. Dustin May had a solid outing with no run support.
The Diamondbacks took an early lead when Hyeseong Kim misplayed a fly ball that advanced Corbin Carroll to third base. Carroll was driven in, giving Phoenix a one-run lead in the bottom of the third.
In the bottom of the sixth. Dustin May left one up in the strike zone Eugenio Suárez drove the ball deep into the upper deck seats.
The bottom of the seventh, Dustin May’s night was done. He pitched a solid game with a line 88P / 58S / 6.2IP / 7H / 2ER / 1BB / 5K / 1HR. His command was better than his last start and only walked one batter.
Tony Gonsolin will take the mound for the Dodgers tomorrow afternoon to try and even the series. Zac Gallen will face the Dodgers offense. Game time starts at 1:10 PM PST and can be watched on SportsNet LA.
