Dodgers Rumors: Dodgers Among Teams Interested in Raisel Iglesias
You can include Raisel Iglesias’ name among the late-inning right-handed pitchers the Dodgers have been linked to this offseason.

LOS ANGELES, CA—Even before the 2026 offseason began, the Los Angeles Dodgers had an idea of what areas on the roster they’d like to address before the next season, and one of those topics was the addition of another late-inning, right-handed relief pitcher.
It’s no secret that the Dodgers’ bullpen was a major issue for Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who, toward the end of the regular season and throughout October, had to rely heavily on the starting rotation, not only going deep in games, but also making a handful of appearances out of the ‘pen.
Ultimately, the team’s bullpen issues did not cause problems for them, but now that it’s November and the offseason is underway, the front office aims to make upgrades to improve the 2026 regular season. They’ve already been connected to several free agents and trade targets, including former National League All-Star Devin Williams and ex-Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Pete Fairbanks.
However, according to Francys Romero, you can add former Atlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias to that list.
Iglesias has been with the Braves since he was traded by the Los Angeles Angels during the 2022 season, which occurred while he was having a disappointing year after signing a four-year, $58 million contract.
Iglesias finished the 2022 season with the Braves on a high note and maintained his solid performance over the following two years. However, he faced some challenges at the start of 2025, particularly with giving up home runs.
From June onward, Iglesias regained his form and concluded the season with a 3.21 ERA, 3.31 FIP, and 0.95 WHIP, along with 29 saves in 34 chances.
Due to his age (36), the right-hander could fit the short-term deal that Los Angeles usually goes with free agent bullpen arms, only steering away from that notion last offseason when Andrew Friedman inked left-hander Tanner Scott to a multi-year deal.
