Dodgers Rumors: Dodgers Reportedly Eyeing Harrison Bader Ahead of Trade Deadline

Gold Glove-caliber defense and improved offense make Bader an intriguing target for a Dodgers team navigating injuries and looking to fortify its lineup.

As the MLB Trade Deadline approaches, the Los Angeles Dodgers are exploring a number of roster upgrades, one of them reportedly being Minnesota Twins outfielder Harrison Bader.

Bader, who is on an expiring contract, has drawn interest from multiple clubs. Long known for his elite defensive skills in center field, the 31-year-old is also putting together one of his better offensive seasons. Through this point in the season, Bader is hitting .254 with a .337 on-base percentage and 12 home runs.

Best known for his time with the St. Louis Cardinals from 2017 to 2022, Bader has since bounced around between the Yankees, Reds, Mets, and now the Twins. While his bat has often lagged behind his glove, he’s shown notable improvement at the plate in 2025, making him a valuable trade chip.

For the Dodgers, Bader would bring Gold Glove-caliber defense and the versatility to play all three outfield spots. With Michael Conforto struggling and the team dealing with multiple injuries, Bader could be a strong addition both defensively and offensively. His presence could help solidify a lineup that has thinned out in recent weeks.

Los Angeles is also rumored to be targeting bullpen help, with relievers like Jhoan Duran and Ryan Helsley reportedly on their radar. Additionally, position players such as Luis Robert Jr. and Steven Kwan have been linked to the club as the front office continues to explore ways to reinforce the roster.
