Dodgers News: Dodgers Spring Breakout Roster Revealed: Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope Headline Top Prospects

Dodgers top prospects, including Josue De Paula and Zyhir Hope, highlight the club’s preliminary roster for the 2026 Spring Breakout game.

GLENDALE, AZ—As Cactus League play marches on with less than 20 days until the start of the 2026 regular season, Major League Baseball has offically announced the preliminary rosters for the annual Spring Breakout Games.

For the third time, each Major League team’s top prospects will compete in Spring Breakout. The Dodgers’ initial 40-man roster includes outfielders Josue De Paula and Zyhir Hope, ranked as their top two prospects by MLB Pipeline, along with all players on their Top 30 prospects list.

The Dodgers’ prospects face their Chicago White Sox counterparts at 3:30 p.m. PT on March 21st at Camelback Ranch, after the big league club’s Cactus League finale against the Athletics.

Four of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ five prospects ranked on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 are outfielders, and each could appear in this year’s Spring Breakout game. While De Paula and Hope have drawn the most attention with regular playing time in big league camp, Quintero and Sirota are also intriguing prospects worth keeping an eye on.

To account for player movement during the World Baseball Classic and give clubs and farm directors more flexibility, Spring Breakout rosters in 2026 will be assembled in two stages. Teams will first submit a preliminary 40-man player pool on Thursday, March 5th, before trimming those lists down to the final 23–27-man rosters on March 18th.
