The Great Lake Loons go on the road to take on the Padres Single A affiliate Fort Wayne TinCaps. Newcomer from the Chicago Cubs, Jackson Ferris took the mound for his Loons debut. Ferris pitched a solid game and ended the night with 3IP / 3H / 1R / 4K / 0.00ERA. Dylan Cambell gets the Loons on the score board with an RBI single that scores catcher Thayron Liranzo to tie the game up 1-1.

SS Noah Miller was the standout for the Loons with 6AB / 2H /1RBI / 2K / .333AVG / .666AVG. Miller came to the Dodgers February 26th via trade with the Minnesota Twins for CF Manuel Margot, SS Rayne Doncon, and cash. In the bottom of the eleventh, Miller comes to plate with runners in scoring position and hits a line drive down the right field line to score DH Luis Rodriguez for a walk off opening day 3-2 win. This was the first opening day win for The Great Loons since 2016
