Press Conference With Ned Colletti And Don Mattingly

Dodgers held their end of the year media session with General Manager Ned Colletti and Manager Don Mattingly this morning. The obvious question that was being asked was, will Don Mattingly be back next year? If you look at pictures from the event you get the sense it was very uncomfortable, and being in the room I can say it did feel very tense. Mattingly said he felt like a lame duck all year. He said after being here for three years management should know already if he can manage. He was visibly upset and from the looks of things would be willing to walk if he is not offered a multi-year deal. Ned Colletti did say though that the issue would be resolved rather quickly.
