Vin Scully discusses multiple subjects that give an interesting back story of Vin Scully’s life. He had fun as a center fielder and was great with defense, but his offensive was not as good as his defense. The love of the game had started back during his grammar school days. The Polo grounds were within walking distance from his school and because he belonged to multiple organizations in school, he was able to get in for free! If he saved up money from soda caps, he could sit in the bleachers.
