 Will He Be Our Maddon?

In the early morning of 10-24-2014, Joe Maddon of the Tampa Bay Rays, left his position as the manager of the Tampa Bay Rays. After the Los Angeles Dodgers recently just recruited Andrew Friedman, there has been much speculation that Joe Maddon would be coming out west and join the Los Angeles Dodgers. Yes, Don Mattingly is the current manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but many are aware that his time may be coming to an end even after Friedman said the Mattingly would be his man.

Back to Maddon, the man is a pure genius and will be highly sought after. Maddon has a career managing record of 781-729 but took the below average Tampa Bay Rays to the world series in 2008. Maddon then led the Rays to 2 Eastern Division titles and won Manager of the year in 2008 and in 2011. Maddon did win an World Series title with the then Anaheim Angels in 2002.

Let the speculation begin. We all will continue to wonder if Joe Maddon will be in Dodger Blue by Spring training or if Don Mattingly will continue to be the manager of the Dodgers. What are your thoughts on this surprising move?
