After a cold and rainy road trip, the Los Angeles Dodgers return home for a three-game weekend series hosting the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers are returning from a six-game road trip, during which they went 3-3. They lost their first series to the Chicago Cubs and then won the series against the Minnesota Twins.

The San Diego Padres are coming to town with a record of 7-8, which placed them second behind the Dodgers in the NL West. However, despite the record, the Padres’ offense is playing excellent ball. They are second in the MLB in runs scored (80) behind the Dodgers (81).

While the two teams have already met this season in Korea, this will be the first time they will play domestically.

Game Three: James Paxton (LHP) (2-0, 1.64 ERA) vs Yu Darvish (0-1, 3.86 ERA)

Who’s in & who’s out?

The Dodgers will continue to be without Jason Heyward, Brusdar Graterol, Blake Treinen, and Walker Buehler, who are all on the IL with various injuries.

However, the Padres are as healthy as possible, with no major or minor injuries from their Opening Day roster.
