If you google “Will Smith” you’ll get a plethora of websites linking you to the famous actor, film producer, and rapper aka The Fresh Prince etc… In fact, you actually won’t get anything to come up on the Dodgers catcher until halfway through the 3rd “O” of the long “google” name at the bottom of the page; the 1st page on our Dodger catcher… you guessed it (or not) a MLB.com link with his stats, news and fantasy updates.

Last week, however, if you searched “Will Smith Flowers“ you’ll see our boy in blue take over the entire “G” page (1st page for those that last joke just went over) thanks to a short funny clip the Kentucky native made alongside Ryan Reynolds. The short clip was made by Will Smith’s (Men in Black, Pursuit of Happiness) production company “Westbrook Inc” and was shot for Snapchat but has now been shared across all social media platforms.

The clip starts off with an excited Ryan Reynolds who wants to show off his “work of art for a special someone” (nope not his wife Blake Lively) then name drops Mr. Will Smith. You can check out the clip below and have a chuckle or two as you see how Will Smith handles the mistaken identity… again!

Pitchers and Catchers officially reported for Spring Training last week. We will keep an eye on our guy Will Smith throughout spring to see how he prepares with his team as they enter the 2021 season. Recently the Los Angeles Dodgers catcher was ranked 3rd best catcher in the entire league by MLB Network. The top two spots are occupied by Chicago White Sox catcher (and former Los Angeles Dodger) Yasmani Grandal and Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto.
