The Los Angeles Dodgers are fresh off a much-needed 10-0 win on Sunday, capping off a disappointing homestand that saw the team go 3-6, losing their series to the San Diego Padres, Washington Nationals, and New York Mets.

The Dodgers are about to embark on a challenging nine-game road trip, starting with a face-off against the Washington Nationals. This young Nationals team proved their mettle by taking two-of-three from the Dodgers last week in LA, setting the stage for an intriguing rematch.

The Nationals are hosting the Dodgers for a three-game weekday series. They are coming off back-to-back series wins against the Dodgers and Houston Astros. The Nationals currently sit in fourth place in the competitive NL East with a 10-11 record.

Who’s in & who’s out?

The Dodgers will be without right-handed pitcher Kyle Hurt, who was placed on the 15-day IL on April 20 due to right shoulder inflammation. In his place, the Dodgers called up left-handed relief pitcher Nick Ramirez.

The Nationals are expected to be without catcher Keibert Ruiz, who missed the past week due to illness. Nationals manager Dave Martinez stated the young catcher will likely go on a rehab assignment before he is activated.

Victor Robles will also be out until May as he deals with a hamstring issue, which he sustained running from first to third on April 3. He is throwing and hitting without pain and has regained a full range of motion.
