Wild Weekend Ahead As Regular Season Comes to a Close

How are we feeling out there in Dodgerland? It’s been an exciting, at times excruciating season, nothing short of a proverbial roller coaster ride. It’s been my pleasure to recap games and share my Dodgers experiences these past months, and I thank you all for reading. And I’d especially like to thank the founder of Dodgersbeat to give me the opportunity to write about our Boys in Blue.

That said, we all know what’s ahead. 3 games that, depending on the outcome (especially if the Nationals decide to play baseball this weekend, unlike the Phillies) will set the stage for the postseason. Of course we all expect the Dodgers to be a part of it, preferably as the NL West Champs once again.

Just like the rest of you I’ll be a Cubs & Nats fan by proxy for the next few days, so as Joe Davis is fond of saying, fasten those seatbelts!

The Dodgers face the Giants tonight in San Francisco, with everyone’s favorite Korean Monster, Hyun-Jin Ryu, taking the mound for L.A.

Game time is 7:15, pm, PST.

A solid outing from Kenta Maeda and good innings from the bullpen and closer Kenley Jansen shut the door on the Padres Wednesday night.
