Rancho Cucamonga, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that starting pitcher Chad Billingsley is slated to make a rehab start for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes on Thursday night.

Thursday’s Opening Day Celebration, featuring a post-game Fireworks Spectacular thanks to Boston’s, was already shaping up to be an Opening Day to remember. A member of the Dodgers’ starting rotation will make it even that much more special.Bills opening night.jpg

On the disabled list with a bruised right index finger, Billingsley figures to make one rehab start with the Quakes, before returning to Los Angeles for his 2013 Dodgers’ debut. The right-hander went 10-9 with the Dodgers last year in just 25 games, but sported a solid 3.55 ERA.

Great seats are still available for Opening Night, as the Quakes open the 2013 regular season on Thursday, April 4th, taking on the Lake Elsinore Storm. Opening Night will be highlighted by a fantastic Fireworks Show, sponsored by Boston’s. Fans will also take home 2013 Magnet Schedules thanks to Allstar KIA and enjoy Thirsty Thursday, with $2 domestic 16-oz drafts and 24-oz Pepsi Products.

To become part of the Quakes’ family, call the Quakes at (909) 481-5000, as the Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. Individual tickets, Mini Season Tickets are now available, along with 70-Game Full Season Ticket Packages.
