Yasiel Puig & Drew Butera to play in Japan All Star Series Against Samurai Japan

Puig

The 2014 postseason has come to an end and other sports are in full swing. Those of us who are missing the baseball season will not have to look far. Many MLB players take their talents to Japan. Baseball is popular in Japan and what better way to showcase the game than to host a exhibition between MLB Players and Japan’s National Team. The Japanese national team, also known as Samurai Japan, will open a five game series against a contingent of Major League Baseball players. The Dodgers have two players representing MLB, with catcher Drew Butera and outfielder Yasiel Puig.

MLB.TV subscribers will be able to watch every game live and on-demand online. The MLB.com At Bat app will also have coverage of these games (with MLB.tv. subscription) , and all games will air via MLB Network (please check your local TV provider), which will also broadcast replays of each telecast at 9 p.m. ET on game nights.
