MINNEAPOLIS, MN. — The Dodgers, fresh off a dominant start by right Tyler Glasnow, who tied his career-high in strikeouts with 14, will turn to Bobby Miller with their eyes set on a series sweep.

The Twins, facing a formidable opponent, will rely on the experience of right-handed pitcher Chris Paddack, a familiar face who started his career with the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers would get the scoring started early after a Teoscar Hernández RBI double, which would score Mookie Betts after leading off the game with a sharp base hit. However, that would be all that the Dodgers would score until the fourth inning.

The Twins would strike back with a home run by Eduardo Julien, tying the game in the bottom half of the first inning. Fresh off a disastrous start against the Cubs, Bobby Miller struggled early with command but left a pitch down the plate that was blasted.

The Twins struck yet again in the third with an RBI single by Byron Buxton, but the Dodgers struck back to tie the game again after a blast by Max Muncy, his second of the year.

However, it was the Eduardo Julien game as he would greet left-handed pitcher Alex Vesia with his second home run, giving the Twins the lead in the fifth.

The Twins, who slugged four home runs all year until this point, hit six in this series alone, which is cause for concern with a weak lineup like this.

While the Dodgers would threaten late, their comeback attempt was snuffed after a great rely throw by Dodgers nemesis Carlos Corea, who gunned out Shohei Ohtani, who tried to score on a Freddie Freeman triple.

The Dodgers would drop the final game of this series 3-2 but will return home with a 3-3 split on the road.
